Martin Compston, patron of Ardgowan Hospice and star of popular show ‘Line of Duty’, hosted ‘An Audience with AC12’, joined by co-stars Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar, and writer Jed Mercurio.
Ardgowan Hospice’s patron Martin Compston has personal ties to the hospice, and has been on a mission since his patronage began ten years ago to raise as much as he can for them. He hoped to raise thousands through an exclusive ‘Line of Duty’ reunion with his fellow cast members.
Ardgowan Hospice’s patron Martin shared the event on his social media, attracting widespread support and interest in the event. Tickets could be purchased, or supporters could text DUTY to 70215 to enter a raffle to win two tickets to the event and donate £2 to the hospice. This Text Raffle alone raised nearly three and a half thousand pounds!
“It was our first time doing a Text Raffle and we were happy with how it went. The success was partly thanks to our patron Martin sharing on his social media, and partly to the exclusivity of the event."
The event raised over three and a half thousand pounds for Ardgowan Hospice through Text Raffles.
Tickets to the event sold out in under a minute, making the Text Raffle for two more tickets, an even more tense and exciting event!
The exclusivity and excitement of the event drew 2145 people to enter the raffle to win the two tickets.
