Whilst you’ll often find us in London meeting charities of all sizes, we’re incredibly proud that Donr HQ is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Known for its friendly people – as well as being one of the UK’s fastest-growing digital and technology sectors – the North East is most definitely home.

That’s why when we were brainstorming our year-end event open to the public, we picked a topic that’s not only important to the charity sector but to our local community too – hence “Growing Tech-for-Good in the North East” was born. The event will kickstart with four 10-minute talks, followed by an informal panel discussion about how to tackle some of the funding challenges faced by the social impact and tech-for-good sector.
