Like many charities, Max's Foundation had to pivot their fundraising events due to coronavirus restrictions.

As physical events were impossible, Max's Foundation organised a virtual talent show to engage with supporters and raise vital funds for the charity.

The Solution

Text Giving as a voting system

In order to successfully fundraise during the event, Max's Foundation chose to collect donations – as well as allow votes to be cast – using Text Giving.

Each act was assigned their own unique text keyword. The audience watching the live stream at home were then able to text in to vote for their favourite act - whilst making a £2 donation to the charity.
