How To Grow Your Regular Giving Community Using Text Giving

Since our launch last November our text giving service has gone from strength to strength; we’ve updated the dashboard making it easier to navigate, added new Gift Aid options and now all our charity partners can set up recurring donation campaigns that accept an industry high of up to £20 per month.

With over 300 charities — including Place2Be, the East Anglian Air Ambulance and The Heart of England Forest — using the service it’s clear that text giving is still a relevant and valuable revenue stream for the charity sector.

By adding a recurring donation option of up to £20 to Text Giving, we’ve created a regular giving service for the digital generation. Although your longterm direct debit supporters aren’t going anywhere, we believe it’s important to recognise that how we all give to charity is changing, so much so that recent research has shown that 64% of people are not willing to give regularly to charity via direct debit or standing order.

The new dashboard also lets you monitor the success of your campaigns in real-time, which means you can track what your audience is responding to and tweak your messaging whilst your campaign is still in progress to maximise donations.
