Specimen Oaks   at larger scale.
These ancient oak trees deserve a page of their own.  Trees of this size have seldom been preserved in today's,   cut and build mentality.   Here, at least the younger generation has a chance to see what our country could have looked like,  if the protection of our ecology had been considered by past generations.   There are still areas, like this, which have been overlooked by developers.  Every effort should be made to preserve sites like these.
